Typeface design

A typeface composed of multiple horizontal lines. The strength of the letters are controlled by changing the thickness of the lines which build each letter. Letters where the lines have been thinned fade into the background, whereas thickening the lines creates a bold, pronounced letter.

The typeface is played out in the two posters to the right: “Fading Empires” & “Fading Stars” extending the typeface into an appropriate concept.
