Soda Magazine approached our studio in Amsterdam and asked us to react on the theme of ‘community’ by using our immediate environment. What resulted was a large collaboration of 33 graphic designers creating installations based around this theme, which were subsequently photographed for the purpose of documentation and publication. The projects ranged from taking mundane objects from the studio and turning them into decorative compositions (when information becomes decoration), and performance art using handmade typography to indicate our thoughts on community.
